Sharm el Sheikh Increases Hotel Accommodation
The popularity of holidays to Sharm el Sheikh in Egypt has prompted hotel company Jaz Hotels, Resorts & Cruises to expand their presence in the coastal resort.
A record investment is set to be made next year, with 15 new properties planned, nine of which will open in 2010 as the company ramps up its capacity for Egypt holidays. The company’s aggressive expansion plans are certainly ambitious, and will see six new hotels open in to welcome tourists on their Sharm el Sheikh holidays as early as spring 2010.
This week, Jaz Hotels, Resorts & Cruises introduced their newest four-star hotel to the collection. Sol Y Mar Sharks Bay will be the perfect place for SCUBA divers with its proximity to the Red Sea and the amazing coral that Sharm has become so famous for.
More than 1,000 rooms are due to be added to the Jaz portfolio by the middle of next year. Meanwhile the all-inclusive holiday resort at the Jaz Royal Taba will offer the best five-star treatment the company has to offer tourists.
Regional sales manager for the UK and Ireland, Peter Grace told TravelMole.com that his company was enjoying a period of unprecedented expansion in Egypt, with new hotels and Nile cruise ships planned.
“2009 has been a phenomenal year for the company with several high-profile openings and the growth of our management sector. This is set to continue through 2010 and we are confident we can meet the demand for accommodation fuelled by a steady increase in visitors to Egypt,” he commented.
